Buildings of interest are the handsome parish church built in 1763, the gabled
almshouses and the Roman Catholic Church of St Mary
with its unusual tall tower topped by a cupola.
Aughnacloy offers excellent fishing and for those interested
in old railways - the station house, which was once
the headquarters of the former Clogher Valley Railway,
is still standing. |
